12 Jan 2010 hari tu genap la 31 tahun umur aku....alhamdulillah. Guess?...what I got for my birthday?....Taraaa!!!! ......a Blackberry 9700 smartphone or code name "Bold II"... this lovely gift is from my beloved wife, Tuty.. I got this on th 13th, a day after my birthday.
According to my wife, the idea of buying me a hphone came out when she heard me keep on complaining and started "pissed off" with my 2 years old Asus P750 smartphone. That phone's signal receptions started to give me problem and of cause a problem to her as well because she hardly get me.
Initially, she had planned to give this as surprise. She already "kaw tim" with my good friend, "Ngek" (bukan nama sebenar) to recce, what is my dream hphone. I remembered, Ngek did called me and we had a long conversation about hphone.... but, at that time I still not in serious thought of buying a new phone. I was kinda forget about phone's technology and model since I bought Asus.... I did mention to Ngek that I was thinking of Samsung Omnia, HTC HD2..... and also Iphone... That time I still want to keep on using windows mobile phone.... One day, my office friend suggested to me about Blackberry specifically model 9700 Bold II.... my perseptions about Blackberry was just a phone suitable for business and work. To me BB is famous with it's email thing.. and because BB is very common in my office, almost every employee have (company kasi...) except me and a few non-important worker....I found it a bit boring la.... that why I never thought about buying a BB... untill one day I watched a review about the phone in youtube, then I realize that BB is kinda cool stuff also.... I told my wife about that and that had made her mind confused about what to buy for me and as she knows my fussiness when talk about electronic gadget, she don't dare to make decision so she decided to reveal her surprise plan la..... hehehe....
What made me chose BB is because I think BB is just fit my need, It fast, simple, elegent looking, and look pro.... I've been using Windows Mobile phone since 2005 and I started to fell unease with the "hanging" and "lagging" problem which I think is quite common in WinMo phone. I admit, WinMo has lots of applications and its compatibility with PC really good... but out of thousand apps that WinMo have, only a few that I really use. I just use some financial manager apps and also a password manager software which I can find it also in BB.... and the fact that BB has least or no problem with "hanging", so I chose BB.... plus I kinda 'giler' facebooking, so BB is a good choice.
What a BB if without BB service kan, so terpaksalah I subscribe BB service and I think now I am ready for phone bill commitment. I still wanna keep my 9 year old number, so I just migrate it to postpaid. I'd never experienced using postpaid before and this is my first time. I've been using prepaid since I had been introduced to mobile phone back in 1999. ....lama tu....
So far, I really like my BB..... really excite me...and hope the excitement will remain for a longer time...and I'll not think about other phone anymore......

3.2MP camera...just nice for camera phone... Why need higher pixel?.. If I wanna shoot high quality pics, use a real camera then....
